Open Letter
Welcome to my new site:
"The Right Woman Online"
What? Huh? What happened to Net2Bed/Net2Wed?
Well, things evolve...
When I first wrote N2B/N2W a few years ago, it was my gift to guys on how to convey their strongest, most vulnerable, real, interesting, edgy self. How to articulate your most attractive self.
The truth is, most men had NO IDEA how to write to a woman online. No idea what made them appealing to women. No idea of all the ways they were turning women off by being obnoxious or boring or gross.
N2B/N2W represented a time in my life, post-divorce, where I was dating non-stop. I couldn't believe, how with a few writing skills, I could date a different woman every night. Especially after feeling so lousy about myself during the dying days of moribund marriage.
It was a great, fun time of rediscovering who I was and what I was capable of.
After a bunch of guys asked me to share my "secrets" - which was a combination of basic writing skills (remember, I did teach writing at Stanford), psychology, semiotics, common sense and good old experimentation - I wrote my first ebook.
And men loved it.
The book sold on every continent and it's been a whirlwind ride.
But then something funny happened.
Dating women got old.
And teaching guys how to meet just any woman got boring.
There are guys who teach men how to flirt successfully, how to approach and meet women.
And for guys who find that difficult, it's an important first stage.
But once you've healed that wound, new questions arise.
Like - what do I actually have to OFFER a woman? What kind of man do I want to BE? What kind of woman would make my life BETTER? What is my responsibility to women whom I date?
I had dated enough. Through my contact with Satyen Raja of WarriorSage.com and then, through him, with David Deida, my interests and my passions took a sharp turn.
I got much less interested in attraction. Attraction, ultimately is easy.
I got interested in…. devotion.
In my writing I used the phrase: "Trigger Attraction. Inspire Devotion."
And THAT, requires a certain stepping up.
So, as you might know, about a year or so ago, I started writing a different tune.
I realized that some men weren't really getting the gist of N2B, and were using it to "fool" women into believing they were better men that they were.
Now, clearly, most men using the book, were, for the first time in their lives, expressing the full spectrum of who they were, in a language that had some real power. And they were meeting great women partners.
But others were asking me questions like, "how do I pick up strippers?"
My answer: why would you even want to? Clearly, my message to the world was getting muddied.
And part of that muddied message was the title of the book.
It was catchy. But it sent the wrong signals.
So, it's been about a year in coming, but I am officially killing "N2B/N2W" as a title.
Instead, my interest is in focusing even more on how to attract a woman who will IMPROVE your life. Who will DEEPEN your life. And whose life you can improve and deepen, in return.
So hang in there.
I am rewriting the book - improving it all around, and focusing it on helping you attract not just any women, but the kind of woman who will make your life a genuinely happier place.
And when that's ready, it will be called THE RIGHT WOMAN ONLINE.
I will also be dropping my pen name from my early days, Grant Adams. Grant was my alter ago. The guy, who, after years of being a dutiful husband, could go out and live it up for a while.
I have integrated what Grant has learned and am going to be writing for now on under my real name. My name is Adam. My middle name is Grant.
And my whole name, as I announced when I was invited to the Emmy's last year, is Adam Gilad.
I have learned a lot these last couple of years.
I have met extraordinary women and messed up women.
I have listened to some "pick-up teachers" spout the vilest nonsense, growing from their own wounds of rejection and insecurity.
And I have met some great teachers who teach honest flirtation, rapport, listening, and in general, "manning up."
I would steer you toward the best of them and urge you to avoid the worst. Look at the women in their lives. Do they attract conscious, deep goddesses? Or do they "bang strippers?"
It's a good clue.
You get what side I'm on here.
I have been through a LOT. And I know how much better life is when you attract high level women.
If that is your goal, if you want to succeed in meeting The Right Woman Online rather than any random woman, hang in there.
My new book will be ready early this summer.
Peace,
Adam Gilad
(RIP Grant Adams)
